Install the extension

Leveo is a Chrome extension. It works in any Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and others — but the fastest install is through the Chrome Web Store.

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing

Head to the Leveo listing and click Add to Chrome. Confirm the permissions prompt.

  2. Pin the icon (optional but recommended)

Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar, find Leveo, and click the pin. This keeps the extension icon visible so you can open the side panel with one click from any tab.

Nothing to configure yet. Leveo doesn't ask you to build a dashboard or fill in fields before you can use it. The panel opens ready to go.

Open the side panel by clicking the Leveo icon. You'll see two sign-in options.

Continue with Google One click. Fastest option. Uses your Google account for both authentication and profile info — no separate password to remember.
Email and password Create an account with any email address. You'll get a confirmation email to verify — click the link before signing in. Forgot your password? Use the reset link from the sign-in screen.

Check Remember me so you don't have to sign in again next time. Your session refreshes automatically as long as you use the extension at least once every few weeks.

Upload your resume

Your resume is the single most important piece of context for Leveo's AI. It powers the fit score, cover letters, career advisor answers, and outreach drafting — all of which reference your real experience by default.

  1. Open Settings

Tap the gear icon in the header of the side panel.

  2. Upload a PDF or Word document

Leveo extracts the text server-side. There's no formatting requirement — a standard PDF from any resume builder works. You can replace it any time; the new version becomes the default for future AI actions.

  3. Add a job target (optional)

The onboarding checklist on the Home tab prompts you for a target role and locations. This helps the fit score weigh what matters to you and gives the career advisor a clearer picture.

Tip. You don't have to finish onboarding to start using the pipeline. Skip anything and come back later — the checklist stays available until every step is complete.

Grab your first job

The core interaction in Leveo is "grab from page." Instead of running in the background, the extension waits for you to explicitly capture the page you're looking at. This keeps your data private and gives you control over what gets saved.

  1. Open a job posting

Navigate to a job on LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, or Lever. Leveo has adapters for all four and will auto-detect the page type.

  2. Open the side panel

Click the Leveo icon in your toolbar. A blue banner at the top of the panel reads Job page detected with a Grab from page button.

  3. Click grab

Leveo extracts the title, company, location, and description. Choose which pipeline stage to save it to — usually Saved for something you might apply to, or Applied if you've already submitted.

  4. Optional: run a fit check

From the opportunity detail view, click Fit check. Leveo compares the job description against your resume and returns a 0–100 score, a list of strengths and gaps, a tailored cover letter, and a rewritten resume.

Not on a supported site? The panel still lets you save the job manually — enter the title, company, and description by hand from the Add manually form. Everything else in Leveo works the same way regardless of where the job came from.

Opening the side panel

The side panel is Leveo's entire UI. It stays pinned to the right side of your browser window and doesn't inject anything into the pages you visit. Three ways to open it:

Keyboard shortcuts

Leveo binds three shortcuts by default. All work from any tab while the extension is installed.

Alt + G  ·  Grab from page Detects what page you're on and captures it into Leveo — job or contact profile.
Alt + P  ·  Open pipeline Jumps straight to the Pipeline tab, skipping the Home view.
Alt + F  ·  Run fit check Runs a fit check on the job you're currently viewing (or the active opportunity in the panel).

You can rebind these in Chrome by opening chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
